We have just added a fantastic Manchester United home shirt from the 2012-13 season to our Ebay Store. The shirt has the name and number of United striker Robin van Persie ‘v.Persie 20’ on the back.
The shirt is going to go down in United’s history as the shirt worn during their 20th League title winning season and it was fitting that van Persie wore the number 20 shirt as his goals made such a difference for United. It also turned out to be Sir Alex Ferguson’s last season as the United manager. A really nice shirt for any United fan and going to become increasingly collectible.
We only have the one, so if you’d like it check it out before it’s gone.

Ferguson often bemoans the lack of value there is in the current transfer market and the signing of van Persie goes against Ferguson’s and United’s recent transfer policy. Sir Alex is often shipping out players when they reach their late 20’s, and yet here he is paying a reported £24 million for a 29 year old striker with an unfortunate injury record. Have United got value for money? That remains to be seen. Continue reading
