Scotland’s striking new away kit has caused quite a stir. The new kit pays tribute to the famous colours of Lord Roseberry, which are pink and yellow, which have been incorporated on an all white base colour.
Lord Roseberry was an early patron of Scottish football and the ‘Roseberry’ colours were first used in 1881 and were last used in 1951. The most notable match when the ‘Roseberry’ colours were worn was in the famous match against England in 1900, when Scotland won 4-1.
The kit is completed with white shorts with pink and yellow trim and hooped socks and will feature in friendly games and in Euro 2016 qualifying later in the year.
