Here we have a classic Real Madrid football shirt from the 2003-2004 season. Real Madrid shirt sales received a massive boost this season due to the signing of one David Beckham, who took the number 23. Beckham’s world wide appeal played an important role in Real Madrid marketing the club to a global audience. The squad already included some of the world’s best known players including Zidane, Figo, Raul and the Brazilian stars, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo.
However, despite all of this talent Real Madrid disappointed on the pitch, finishing just 4th in La Liga. Carlos Queiroz was the club’s manager.
