QPR are back in The Championship for the 2013-14 season which will see the return of a couple of fan favourites to Loftus Road, along with some new designs.

The new QPR home shirt sees a returned to the wider hoops which were seen on some of the shirts worn by legendary players throughout the club’s history, such as Marsh, Bowles, Francis and Ferdinand. The blue hoops are outlined by thin red edging, which makes them stand out.

There is a new collar design which gives the shirt a more modern feel, with the hidden red button adding a touch of class to the kit, especially when coupled with the embroidered ‘QPR’ on the back of the neck, and the embroidered crest, which creates a high-impact 3D effect.

The away kit shares the technical features of the home kit, as well as acknowledging the club’s history.

The new QPR away kit should be popular with the fans as it has the unique distinction of being voted for by the QPR fans themselves. R’s supporters were offered a choice of four kit options and voted overwhelmingly for the red and black hooped kit, or what many fans fondly refer to as the ‘Dennis the Menace’ kit. The upcoming season’s version also includes a set of thinner black lines around the bottom of the sleeve.

The third kit, which was the runner-up in the fans’ vote for the away colours, is inspired by the colours of Tony Fernandes’ Caterham F1 Racing Team. For the first time in several seasons, along with the other two strips, the kit is also hooped, with dark green alternating with strong yellow.
