As you can see in the pictures, the new home kit features a blue shirt with white sleeves and red trim and white shorts. The away kit comprises of a red shirt with black sleeves and white trim and black shorts. We also include a picture of the new goalkeeper’ kit. The shirt sponsor is Marcus Evans.
The new shirts and kits were mistakenly revealed following an interview with one of the players which was broadcast to iPhone and iPad users who subscribed the Football League’s official app, thanks to some technical issues with Football League Interactive.
The club’s Retail Manager, Lee Hyde, said, “It’s frustrating that a technical issue through no fault of our own has caused us to release the new kits ahead of schedule.
“We were made aware that the kits had been leaked online via Twitter and although frustrating, the feedback we have received from supporters has been very positive. “So far the fans seem to really like the kit and it is great to see such a positive response.”
From the comments we’ve seen that seems to be true; early fan reaction has been largely positive.
