The new third kit is predominantly red as you can see in the pictures. There is ‘1872’ detailing to the sleeves, marking the year the club was founded.
UKIB Marketing Director for PUMA, Ruth How said: “Rangers is a club with a rich and iconic history, and one with which we are very proud to be a partner. We’re delighted to be able to provide the players with the highest standards of design and technical performance for the 2014/15 season.
“After the club’s unbeaten league season last year we hope that this kit will accompany Rangers on another step towards restoring their place in the top tier of Scottish football.”
Graham Wallace, Rangers Chief Executive commented: “We have been delighted with the quality and design of PUMA’s performance apparel since they joined us as our official supplier and official licensee of replica merchandise last season. The 2013-14 kit was very popular with supporters and I am sure the kit the squad will wear throughout the new campaign will be just as successful.”
It looks like the new third kit has been warmly received by Rangers fans and as we write this the Club’s home and away kit for the 2014-15 season has yet to be revealed.
